HP LaserJet 5P and 6P Printer
| The LaserJet 5P and 6P are more of the
office/small business variety. They have a standard paper tray
that is adjustable up to Legal size and a front tray for Labels,
checks and thicker paper. You also have the option of the
paper coming out the top of the printer or the back. The 5P and
6P are identical
printers and take the same toner cartridge but the 6P is slightly
faster and it's a little newer. They are exceptionally reliable and produces a
very clean printout. It would be best suited for medium duty
printing, 1-500 pages a day.
The 5MP and 6MP Printes have additional memory,
Adobe PostScript and a LocalTalk port making it Mac
compatible. Newer Mac systems will require a LocalTalk to USB
adapter.
- 600 dpi and 2 MB Memory
- Toner cartridge lasts about 3000 pages.
- Paper Tray holds 250 sheets and is adjustable for Letter,
Legal, Exec and A4
- Has a front tray for Envelopes, thicker paper or plain paper.
- Standard Parallel, C-Type Parallel and LocalTalk Connections
- Optional Memory slots, expandable up to 50MB.
- Measures about 18 x 16 x 8 inches (LxWxH).
- Up to 8 pages per minute.
